As a pioneer in new plant-based proteins, Roquette caters to all consumers concerned with healthier eating. With the expansion of its range of organic pea and bean proteins, as well as the launch of its new rice protein source, the group offers consumers a variety of botanical sources that revolutionize food while prioritizing quality, nutrition, diversity, and taste!

Textured Organic Pea and Bean Proteins for North America and Europe

According to a study by Innova Market Insights1, the demand for organic products is the third-largest global health trend. To meet this trend, Roquette’s organic range of NUTRALYS® plant-based proteins offers the possibility of proposing delicious and organic plant-based gastronomy. In 2022, Roquette launched a range of textured organic pea and bean proteins for European markets. This range positions the group as a privileged partner for its customers wishing to develop new, increasingly tasty plant-based products.

A Range of Ingredients from Organic Peas from Roquette’s Canadian Site

That same year, Roquette also launched a range of ingredients from organic peas: organic pea starch and protein. Produced at Roquette’s Canadian plant in Portage la Prairie, this range offers premium organic ingredients that bring sustainability and reliability to its customers through a unique supply chain. North America and Western Europe2 cover 80% of the total organic food and beverage market.

Roquette’s close collaboration with pea producers, coupled with a state-of-the-art plant for the production of organic ingredients, positions the group as the best partner for all actors throughout the value chain.

Rice Complements the NUTRALYS® Protein Range

With the launch of its rice protein, the second preferred protein alternative for consumers3, Roquette offers a safe and nutritious protein produced to high production and quality standards. Commonly used in savory and dessert foods, rice offers a tasty, non-genetically modified, and gluten-free source of plant-based protein to be combined with pea protein for complete plant-based protein supplementation.

This new range of rice proteins illustrates Roquette’s commitment to the current food revolution, accessing a new and growing market.

This year, marked by numerous innovations for increasingly varied and tasty plant-based alternatives, marks a major new step in the group’s commitment to developing a new plant-based cuisine that contributes to healthier lifestyles.
