Roquette continues its commitment to the climate

As one of the major companies of the AFEP, the French Association of Private Companies, Roquette confirms its commitment through the KEnI project for climate neutrality alongside more than forty major French companies in the Ambition 4 Climate program.

The group is committed to implementing solutions aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions by improving energy efficiency.

The KEnI project, Key Energy Indicator, launched in May 2020 and deployed at all the group’s industrial sites in the summer of 2021, contributes to the achievement of the new objective, the Carbon Performance Indicator, of reducing CO2 emissions per ton of product by 5% by 2025 compared to 2019.

Designed and managed by internal teams, the KenI project enables real-time monitoring of energy dashboards in the workshops, using a digital application, in order to precisely identify energy performance gaps in production lines and thus optimize them. This project allows us to centralize and analyze all the energy consumption data of our sites.

Over the years, this project will allow us to improve energy consumption precisely and to reduce CO2 emissions in the long term for a better future!
