Roquette’s Exemplary Warehouse at the Santes Port 

At the end of October 2021, our site in Lestrem (France) received a positive report from France’s National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM) following the inspection of our warehouse in Santes (France).   

A year earlier, the ANSM inspected our Lestrem site as a supplier of ingredients for the pharmaceutical market. To ensure a complete inspection, the agency must follow the value chain by inspecting the storage and distribution warehouses. As 80% of our pharmaceutical ingredients pass through Santes to be shipped all over the world, the ANSM inspected our warehouses at the end of 2021. 

This major step for Roquette went very well thanks to the internal teams, and to our partners for the two warehouses in Santes.  

The overall conclusions of the inspection were very positive. The first inspection was a great performance and a key step to better serve our pharma customers.
