At Roquette, sharing knowledge for the well-being of all people is key. In 2021, the Roquette teams shared their knowledge with local communities and participated in France in a health challenge to help local associations.
In Benifaio (Spain), Roquette employees visited a school near the plant with a nutritionist to explain the benefits of healthy food to the students. This meeting with the children was also the opportunity to share knowledge about growing local vegetables. Nearly 600 children participated in these initiatives.
In Roquette’s French sites, a health challenge was organized to improve employees’ well-being by encouraging the practice of sports for more than three months. More than 650 employees participated in this challenge: they organized themselves into teams and kept track of their sports points, which were accumulated and turned into donations for local French associations. Thanks to the employees’ involvement, they completed almost 300,000 kilometers for a donation of €12,000 to different charity associations.
